About Us
Wells County Conservation and Gun Club was founded in 1959. The club has a long history of shooting and supporting the shooting sports. For many years shooters of all abilities have enjoyed the club and ensuing events.
Club members have spent many hours improving the grounds and club house. We recently completed a project replacing many target throwers and calling systems.
We pride ourselves in being one of the cleanest and nicest clubs in the state of Indiana.
What You'll Find Here:
We have two trap ranges with new equipment using pat traps and canterbury callers.
Have fun on the Crazy Trailer where the targets take flight from five shooting positions, with a mix of singles, report pair and true pair. Every target has a random height and angle. You won't get bored shooting the same target!
Or try out the coolest 5 Stand Range that features 8-11 different throwers. It offers a mix of crossing, incoming, outgoing, rabbit, teal, battue, and candaliie. Each shooting station is a different menu of single, report pair and true pair. This is fun for both new and experienced shooters.
The club is open to the public! Come out and try the Crazy Trailer, 5 Stand or Trap Ranges.
Want to join a league?
There are many different league opportunities offered throughout the year. You don't have to be a sharpshooter to join, either! All levels of experience are encouraged to join, because as they say, practice makes perfect. Come out and shoot with a great group of people.
